Memory of Jim

Telling of a meeting in Italy where one Italian partner told Jim he had an engineer's "balls in his hand" and could crush them by firing the guy for financial reasons, to be documented by Jim. Something like that. The Italian guy in the meeting, I remember Jim telling me, made a cupping motion with his hands and told Jim he held the engineer by the short hairs, or words to that effect. Basically, the guy in the meeting was being very mean and graphic in describing Jim's power over the engineer.

Getting off trail on McClellan Butte, Jim doubting my trail-finding, acting so relieved to see Marshall again because Marshall would find the trail! I had another way to the main trail ... but Jim doubted me.
